Goccia D’oro (CJ)

Chinese-Japanese cultivar, known since 1895. A very vigorous and productive plant, giving highest  productivity in the old goblet form. Needs thorough thinning to obtain a good fruit size. Fruit normally medium-size, rounded, slightly oblong and yellow; juicy with fairly good taste. The flesh is not very firm on ripening and is therefore not suitable for transport or cold storage.  Harvesting period: 10-15th July. Not freestone.
