Glohaven (yellow flesh peach)

Obtained in Michigan in 1963 from a Santhaven x Kalhaven cross. Highly vigorous plants with spreading growth form, with consistent yields, especially if pruned thoroughly and late. Medium-late flowering. The fruit is good, with red-tinged yellow flesh, oblong shaped, symmetrical and consistent AA. AAA size. Normally, the skin has an additional colouring on 60-80% of the surface. Good firmness, freestone. Normally picked at a hardness of 4.0-4.2 kg 0.5cm². Harvested at about 27-30th July, about 10-12 days after the Redhaven. The fruit colour improves with green pruning.
