Fairlane (yellow flesh nectarine)

Yellow flesh nectarine. American variety obtained in 1975 from a Le Grand x Sungrand x Fantasia cross. The tree has a regular growth form with fruit bearing mainly on mixed branches and sprigs. The plant has a very high vigour. The fruit is rounded and slightly asymmetrical, prevalently large size A .AA. They are mainly yellow with an additional colour of intense red over 40-70% of the surface. Yellow flesh, with a good firmness, not freestone; excellent flavour. Excellent for transport. Ripens late: 12-16 September.
