Kaiser Alexander

Characterised by a good, constant productivity, a large sized fruit with a rusty coloured skin and a very fine, medium texture, sugary and aromatic flesh. Good short-term storage. A highly vigorous tree, bearing fruit prevalently on short branches. The use of interstock is advised because of the low affinity to quince. An excellent alternative is grafting on clonal Franco stock, although this reduces the characteristic bronze colour. Harvested in the second ten days of September.
