Highly regarded for its good organoleptic characteristics which, however, are at their best only in certain particularly suitable zones. This cultivar has a good but not constant productivity and is penalised by its high sensitivity to apple scab, mildew and some phytopharmaceuticals. A large, asymmetric, ribbed fruit with a yellow-greenish skin and a slightly red hue with a grainy texture that can be extensive; big lenticels, not very numerous but very noticeable. Creamy-white, tender flesh with a melting texture. Sugary, slightly sharp and moderately aromatic taste. Vigorous growth, usually spreading. Starts producing quite slowly. Subject to pre-harvest dropping. Harvested in the second ten days of September.
