Currently the most widespread apple cultivar in Italy. The determining factors in this success have been its great adaptability to different environments, the excellent storage properties of the fruit and its high productivity. A medium-large fruit, of elongated form and attractive appearance, with a yellow skin sometimes tinged with red. The tree can be grown in reduced or spread form in combination with rootstocks of different vigour. Of the virus-free clones, the "clone B"¹ selection is the most widely used. Harvested from mid September to the beginning of October in two pickings.
