Clonal rootstock. Suitable for arid soils. Produces trees of medium-low vigour, not manageable from ground level. Planting on the EM26 is characterised by early fruit bearing, high productivity and high productive efficiency, but has low tolerance to asphyctic soils. More sensitive to winter cold than the EM9. Currently, its best applications are when combined with the red Delicious "spurs".
